EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS - They assist in distributing Holy Communion at the week-end Masses and bringing Communion to the shut-ins when requested. They are selected by the pastor and upon attending a training session appointed by the bishop. The period of service is five years.

LECTORS - They have the function of proclaiming the scripture during Mass on Sundays and Holy Days. They have occasional training sessions. The ministry lectors is open to all men and women of high school age and older.

USHERS - They exercise the important ministry of hospitality. Formerly, they appeared only to pass the basket for offertory collection. Now they greet people before Mass, assist with information when asked, arrange for the presentation of the gifts, and distribute the bulletins. They serve in any way to help out liturgy run smoothly. The ministry is open to all men and women 18 years or older.

ALTAR SERVERS - They assist the priest in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. This ministry is open to all boys and girls fifth grade and up. New altar servers training takes place during the summer.

CCD - RELIGIOUS EDUCATION- The religious education program provides catechesis for children in the public schools for grades K-12. All students must be registered with the parish. CCD classes for grades K-7 are after the Sunday 8:30 a.m Mass (9:45 - 10:45 ), and grades 8-12 are held after the Sunday 11:00 a.m. Mass (12:15 - 1:30) , during the school year.

MUSIC MINISTRY- The function of choirs and instruments are to lead and encourage congregational participation by singing hymns of praise and worship during Mass. Requirements for membership are a reasonable amount of musical talent and a sincere desire to worship the Lord in song. THE PRECIOUS BLOOD CHOIR - rehearses every Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Church. THE HERITAGE CHOIR - rehearses on Tuesdays from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m., in the church. THE CHILDREN'S CHOIR - The children's choir meets during the school year on Sunday, following Mass and CCD class. People are invited to join our choirs to use their gifts and to join with others in a shared love of music and God. If you are able to sing or play an instrument, please join the choir. We need you!

PAMPHLET & CD RACKS - The pamphlet and CD racks in our church foyer always carry good Catholic literature and informative talks for adults and children.
